Starting Operation
Setting up/hanging up the pump (see figures B−C)
When setting up with the user interface (3) facing upwards (as shown in the figure B), the pump is protected against splashing water from all sides (IP54).
If required, you can alternatively suspend the pump by the utility hook (13), but then this protection can no longer be guaranteed.
If possible, position the pump so that the height difference between the pump, the water discharge point and the highest point of the outlet hose is as small as possible. The greater this height difference H, the lower the possible flow rate Q (see characteristic curve in the figure C).
Switching on and off
Make sure that the opening of the vacuum hose hangs freely in the water: If the hose is suctioned to the bottom or the edge of the water tank, the water inlet will be blocked.
Press the on/off button (4) to switch on the pump and to start pumping.
Press the on/off button (4) again to stop pumping and switch off the pump.
Note: After conveying hot water, allow the pump to cool down for at least 10 minutes before you switch it on again.
