Inserting the Battery

(see figure A)

Actuate the release lever (3) of the battery compartment to release the locking mechanism. The battery compartment cover (4) opens.
Push the charged battery (10) into the battery holder until it clicks into place.
Close the cover (4) and lock it. The release lever (3) must audibly engage.
